It is always so nice to capture photos for seniors. They are our future, and Iyana represents that with grace and beauty. Her family, especially her mom and gramma, has so much to do with her growth and is a big reason why she is who she is today. Combining her senior shoot with a 3 generation shoot was a perfect way to cherish their love and connection. We started at the Captured Imagery Studio where all three got professional hair and makeup done so they feel gorgeous and confident in front of the camera.
Iyana’s personal style was girly with a bit of sass and it shown through with so much beauty in her portraits. This beautiful lei po’o was handmade by her grandmother and sent from Big Island just in time for her shoot.
We also captured timeless and photos with Iyana her mom, gramma and and their matching gorgeous hakus! These generational portraits brought tears to mom and gramma’s eyes.
For her senior photos she also wanted to have photos on a sunset beach! We went out to Barbers Point where the sun and the ocean created the most perfect back drop. She’s a daddy’s girl so for her beach photos, he joined her for a couple photos as well.
